My Story
I didn’t set out to be a writer.
I just started noticing things…
and then not shutting up about them.
Most of what I write comes from moments that feel normal at the time—conversations, relationships, random observations—and then later turn into something a little more honest than expected.
I grew up in Oklahoma, where a lot of things come pre-assigned.
Some of them stick. Some of them don’t.
Over time, I’ve learned that most of life isn’t about having answers—it’s about paying attention long enough to realize what actually mattered.
So that’s what I do.
I write about relationships. Identity. The weird in-between spaces where things don’t quite make sense until you’re already past them.
Sometimes it’s reflective.
Sometimes it’s funny.
Most of the time, it’s both.
What This Is
This site isn’t a blog.
It’s a place to keep a few pieces that feel worth holding onto—
and a way to point you to where I’m actually writing and sharing in real time.
Right Now
I’m working on a memoir, I’ve Been Thinking…—a collection of stories built from the same kind of thoughts that probably should’ve stayed internal, but didn’t.
