I’ve always been a thinker—just not always a quiet one.
Some people go to therapy; I start blogs.

This site began as a place to untangle the thoughts that won’t stop pacing in my head. Over time, it’s become a sort of digital notebook—a mix of reflections, questions, stories, and those moments where humor feels like the only honest reaction to being human.

I’m not here to teach anyone how to live. I’m mostly here trying to figure out how to live with people—kindly, curiously, and occasionally with the right amount of sarcasm.

The Short Version

I grew up believing in faith, family, and a really good punchline.
Since then, I’ve worked in jobs that were based on public speaking and storytelling—basically a career built on talking to humans and hoping they don’t regret it.

Along the way, I’ve realized that thinking out loud can be a superpower when you’re willing to be wrong in public. So I write. I question. I share. Not because I’ve figured anything out, but because I believe the best conversations start somewhere between confusion and laughter.

Why I Write

I’ve Been Thinking… started as a title idea for a collection of essays and probably-still-being-written stories. One day, it’ll grow into a real book. For now, this is my playground—where I test ideas, tinker with sentences, and explore what it means to be decent without needing to be perfect.

I write about faith without dogma, purpose without self-help, and kindness without disclaimers. I don’t think we need all the answers. I think we need more people willing to keep asking better questions—and doing it together.

The Human Part

I’m a humanist at heart, which is just a fancy way of saying I believe in people. I think most of us are doing our best, even when our best looks like “mild chaos, but with snacks.”

To me, morality isn’t about fear or rules—it’s about empathy. Humor isn’t about detachment—it’s about survival. And community isn’t about sameness—it’s about staying curious long enough to keep talking.

When I’m Not Overthinking

You can usually find me watching the Thunder, tinkering with projects I may or may not finish, or trying to convince my coffee maker that we’re in a healthy relationship.

This space—this site—is where all of that thinking spills out.
Sometimes it’s funny. Sometimes it’s philosophical.
Usually, it’s a little of both.

The Invitation

I don’t know everything. I don’t even know if I want to.
But I do know that thinking, writing, and connecting with curious humans makes the whole thing feel worth it.

So welcome.
Stay curious.
Stay human.
And always—be kind.
